According to a report by the Free Press Journal, she has been diagnosed with a heart ailment. Photos of Sawant undergoing treatment and lying in the hospital bed are currently going viral on social media. The report adds that she has been advised to rest for the next 5-6 days. The Supreme Court rejected her anticipatory relief plea after she was charged with allegedly leaking and circulating her ex-husband Adil Khan Durrani’s pornographic video. The report states that accusations against her span sections 500 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which deals with defamation and accomplice involvement in criminal intent. Section 67A of the Information Technology Act (IT Act) has also been imposed for publishing sexually explicit material electronically.
